“Neighbors Helping Neighbors”

 

These words have guided The Bridge Fund throughout our eight-year history, but never before have they carried such a sense of urgency. The coronavirus pandemic–and its economic consequences—are creating unprecedented hardships. Those most at risk have experienced layoffs, along with closed schools and daycare facilities, causing an immediate need for food and other basics required for day-to-day survival. 

 

Unfortunately, TBF’s partner agencies can’t effectively respond while their resources are stressed, if not depleted. They need help maintaining food pantries and meal programs as their donations lag and demands dramatically increase. In addition, those in need may also require medicine, assistance with temporary housing emergencies, or diapers and hygiene products.

Moved by the serious challenges affecting so many, members of TBF family, Sandy and Vince Lovelle and Barb and Fred Sutherland, are determined to make a difference, and hope to inspire you to join them. They have generously offered to match donations to TBF between now and May 31, up to a total of $50,000. Recognizing the compassionate spirit of our community, we are confident that we can meet our goal.
