                                                        The Bridge Fund hosts a Happy Hour and Auction.  $40 includes hearty hors                                                                      d’oeuvres  and two drink tickets for beer, wine, or soda.  There will be two auctions – a chance auction with tickets available throughout the event and a live auction.  Lists of auction items will be available prior to the event so you can pick your favorite items!  Register here; deadline is March 13, or when event reaches capacity.

SECOND ANNUAL PELICAN LANDING FUN RUN or WALK

SATURDAY, MARCH 14 at 8:00 am 

This untimed event is designed to encourage people to get out and move. The event will be held within the Pelican Landing gates and is open to Pelican Landing residents ONLY and their guests. 

 

You have a choice of participating in either the 1.75 mile or the 5k (3.1 miles) and are free to walk or run. T-shirts are provided as part of the entry fee for those participating in the 5k and are optional for those who choose the 1.75 mile distance. Those registered by February 21st will be guaranteed a t-shirt for the event; otherwise they will be available shortly after the event. A gathering is planned at the Community Center at the conclusion of the event. This will include healthy refreshments, music, and a silent auction. To register, click here.   Registration is $25 and increases to $30 on March 1st so register early! Registration ends March 13th; there will be no event day registration.

PICKLEBALL MARCH MADNESS!

SUNDAY, MARCH 15 at 10:30 am 

Have fun playing Pickleball and contribute to help your community via The Bridge Fund at the same time!  Come join us at the March Madness tournament on March 15th. Players will be assigned by committee to one of four NCAA teams. Foursomes, made up of one player from each NCAA team, will play three timed games. Team scores will be tallied. All skill levels welcome.  $25 covers your entry fee; a raffle ticket; along with a brat or hamburger, chips, and a drink after the game—only $10 if you just wish to watch the fun and join the cookout.  To register, click here; registration ends March 6th.

ACEs TENNIS BENEFIT CHALLENGE

SATURDAY, MARCH 21 at 9:00 am 

Players in this second annual tournament will be placed on mixed-level men's/women's teams.  Partners on the teams will play 16-point sets against like-level opponents.  Eight teams will advance to the quarter finals, four teams to the semi finals, and two teams to the finals. Team winner's names will be displayed on the ACEs plaque.  Play begins at 9:00 am with the finals anticipated start time around 1:00 pm.  $25 registration includes lunch and a raffle ticket—only $10 if you wish to watch the tennis and enjoy lunch.  A Calcutta betting event will allow players and spectators to further cheer on their team!  To register, click here; registration ends March 13th.

PELICAN'S NEST BIG BREAK GOLF CHALLENGE

SUNDAY, MARCH 22 at 2:00 TO 4:00 PM

Everyone is welcome to participate in Pelican’s Nest entertaining golf challenges!  Try your hand at hitting shots into a basket. Have fun attempting to make long putts and hitting a ball along the slopes of the greens. Equipment will be provided by the Nest pros who may even provide some tips.  Winners will come from each station. Come on out, enjoy, and cheer on your friends!  $25 registration includes light refreshments.  To register, click here; registration ends March 13th or when the event reaches capacity.
